Law School Counseling Center
Intro Heading link
Law school can be a challenging time, and many students may struggle with multiple stressors, including academic and career concerns, family and relationship problems, coping with societal oppression and discrimination, and transitioning to a new phase of life. Counseling can be an effective and powerful tool towards managing stress, providing emotional support, exploring interpersonal patterns, and reducing and treating symptoms of mental health disorders.
The Law School Counseling Center, a partnership with Empowered Therapy, Inc., offers on-site confidential services for law school students. We accept CampusCare Insurance through UIC and other private insurance plans, and offer a low-cost self-pay option for students who are uninsured, underinsured, or have limited financial means.
