Attend the Fair Housing Training for Advanced Litigators

March 24 – 26, 2021 (Online)

Designed exclusively for past participants of the Fair Housing Legal Support Center's annual Fair Housing Litigation Skills Trainings, our Fair Housing Skills Training for Advanced Litigators will present substantive, interactive roundtable discussions of some of the more complex problems experienced by attorneys who litigate fair housing cases today. Led by experienced fair housing litigators, these discussions will cover problems that arise in the course of fair housing cases, including pretrial preparation, proof of causation and damage to fair housing organizations, preserving the record for appeal, and considerations in deciding whether to appeal. We will focus on federal prosecutions using the federal rules of civil procedure and evidence; however, the discussions will also be useful to those whose primary practice is representing fair housing complainants in state court.
