Degree candidates selected to participate in this program work with an appeals team case leader or appeals officer in the IRS Appeals Office in Chicago. The educational objectives of the course include practical experience in tax law, development of research, writing and drafting skills, and preparation of appeals case memos used in the preparation of settlements of appeals cases.
