Michael Seng

Introduction

Michael Seng publishes extensively on fair housing law. He is also the coordinator of UIC Law's Czech law program. He travels annually to the Czech Republic to teach and publishes articles, in English and Czech, in Czech law journals.

An op-ed co-written by Professors Michael Seng, Steve Schlegel, and law student Christine Drew, "Keeping nonviolent gun cases out of restorative justice courts is a step backward," was published in the Chicago Sun-Times.
UIC Law Professor and Alumna Recognized

UIC Law Professor Michael Seng and law school alum Judge Sheila M. Murphy (Ret.) were honored with the “Outstanding Partnership” award at the Union League Boys and Girls Club (ULBGC) annual luncheon. The award, presented by ULBGC Board’s President.

Professors Michael Seng and Allison Bethel, along with students, have authored and released the “Fair Housing Implications of Nuisance and Crime-Free Ordinances: A Guide for Units of Local Governments”.
