Fraline Allgaier – Principal Owner, Allgaier Patent Solutions
Fraline Allgaier works as a United States Patent, Trademark, and Copyright attorney and serves as the principal owner of Allgaier Patent Solutions, LLC. The firm’s reputation and culture are built on a commitment to provide reliable intellectual property protection to individual inventors, emerging small businesses, domestic and international law offices, and large companies throughout the United States.
Fraline Allgaier’s bar admissions include the State Bar of Illinois, the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and the District of Columbia Bar. Her professional affiliations and awards include the National Bar Association, National Association of Patent Practitioners, the Chicago Bar Association, the Black Women Lawyers Association of Chicago (Lifetime Member), The National Black Lawyers Top 100 Lawyers (2008 – Present), the American Bar Association (Intellectual Property Law Committee, Business Law Committee), recognition as a Top Female Lawyer and Top Attorney in Illinois, and recognition as the National Trial Lawyers Top 25 National Women Trial Lawyers Specialty Division.

Lisa Dunner – Trademark/Copyright Practice Leader, Dunner Law/Raphael Bellum
Lisa Dunner is Trademark/Copyright Practice Leader of the recently merged firm Dunner Law/Raphael Bellum, located in Washington, D.C. Lisa has nearly 30 years of experience counseling clients on the protection and enforcement of trademark, unfair competition and copyright rights. She has been recognized as one of the world’s top 250 Women in IP and one of the top 1000 trademark attorneys in the world by “World Trademark Review 1000.”
She served under the U.S. Secretary of Commerce as a member of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Trademark Public Advisory Committee. Lisa is heavily involved in the ABA, currently serving as a Delegate for the ABA Section of IP, a former Chair of the ABA Section of IP as well as a Commissioner on the ABA Commission for Women in the Profession. Lisa is the Founding Editor-in-Chief of the ABA IP’s “Landslide Magazine.” Outside of her legal career, Lisa is a former touring professional tennis player, a huge lover of animals and the outdoors.

Jomarie B. Fredericks – Deputy General Counsel and Chief Intellectual Property and Brand Counsel, Rotary International
Jomarie B. Fredericks is Deputy General Counsel and Chief Intellectual Property and Brand Counsel for Rotary International, the worldwide not-for-profit association of 45,000 member Rotary and Rotaract clubs and The Rotary Foundation. In this role, she leads a team of experienced professionals who are responsible for all trademark, copyright, licensing and domain name protection, policing, and enforcement work for Rotary International, globally, as well as advising the Board of Directors, the Board of Trustees and various committees on matters of policy adoption and implementation.
Ms. Fredericks is the second Immediate past President of the International Trademark Association (INTA), past Chair of its Board of Directors, past Chair of its Executive Committee, past Chair and current member of the INTA Nominating Committee, and a member of the Board of Governors of the INTA Political Action Committee (PAC). Ms. Fredericks recently completed a 3-year term as a Distinguished Member of the United States Patent and Trademark Office on its Trademark Public Advisory Committee (TPAC). She currently serves on the Board of Managers of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago (IPLAC) Educational Foundation.

Yolanda M. King – Director and Associate Professor of Law, Center for Intellectual Property, Information, and Privacy Law
Yolanda M. King directs the Center for Intellectual Property, Information and Privacy Law and teaches Copyright Law and Property. Before joining the UIC faculty, Professor King practiced intellectual property law at Husch Blackwell Sanders Welsh & Katz and Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione in Chicago, Illinois, where she engaged in domestic and international copyright and trademark prosecution, handled licensing issues and represented clients in domain name matters. In addition, she was an attorney in the City of Chicago Department of Law. Professor King is currently Of Counsel at Advitam IP, an intellectual property law firm in Chicago.
Professor King is a member of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago, International Trademark Association, and Society for American Law Teachers. She is a recipient of the 2009 Corporate Woman of Achievement Award by the National Association of Women Business Owners and the 2012 Outstanding Professor of the Year Award by the NIU College of Law Alumni Council. She is also a 2012 inductee of the Pike High School Alumni Hall of Fame.

Lisa Jorgenson – Deputy Director General, Patents and Technology Sector World Intellectual Property Organization
Lisa Jorgenson serves as the Deputy Director General, Patents and Technology Sector at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland which administers the Patent Cooperation Treaty. She also manages patent and technology legislative and policy advice and programs relating to the law of patents. She is the first female in this role and is one of three female Deputy Director Generals appointed on January 1, 2021.
She was previously the Executive Director of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) and Group Vice President, Intellectual Property and Licensing, of STMicroelectronics. She has been designated as WIPO’s IP and Gender Champion, working on programs to increase the number of women engaged in intellectual property as well as science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

Esther H. Lim – Partner & Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, Finnegan
Esther H. Lim is Partner & Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer at Finnegan. Esther has over 25 years of experience in patent litigation counseling, and oversees the firm’s diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies, initiatives, and goals. Esther served as the founding managing partner of Finnegan’s Shanghai office.
She served as a law clerk at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Esther is past President of the 120,000-member District of Columbia Bar and past President of Asian Pacific American Bar Association-DC. Since 2003, she has been teaching as an adjunct professor at Howard University School of Law. As a working mom, Esther continually strives for balance and understanding, embraces learning through people and books, and enjoys nature and exercise.
