About
Marc Ginsberg joined the full-time faculty after a career as a trial and appellate litigator, primarily representing physicians in medical negligence litigation. He was valedictorian of his law school class and lead articles editor of the law review. Upon law school graduation, he served as a judicial clerk to Justice John Stamos of the Illinois Appellate Court.
Professor Ginsberg served as Professor-Reporter to the Illinois Judicial Conference Committee On Discovery Procedures from May 2011-December 2014. He served as Professor-Reporter to the Illinois Judicial Conference Committee On Civil Justice in 2015. He served as Professor-Reporter of the Illinois Supreme Court Committee On Illinois Evidence from 2016-2018.
Professor Ginsberg teaches Evidence and Medical Negligence. His scholarship focuses on evidence and medical-legal issues.
