Professor Steven Schwinn Lectures to the Ethical Humanist Society of Chicago

UIC Law Professor Steven Schwinn delivered a lecture to the Ethical Humanist Society of Chicago on the Supreme Court and the 2024 Election. According to a recent poll by the Pew Research Center, “fewer than half of Americans (47%) now express a favorable opinion of the Supreme Court, while about half (51%) have an unfavorable view—a three-decade low.”

Professor Schwinn addressed this growing mistrust of the Supreme Court and concerns about its possible role in any legal challenges to the upcoming election. View the full lecture below.
