Visit Once, or Once a Week

You can work on class assignments, general writing skills, writing competitions (if permitted), writing samples, and cover letters with CSO referral. But be sure to sign up sooner rather than later — we often get really busy just before papers are due.

Send Your Paper Ahead of Time

Twenty-four hours before your appointment, upload your most recent draft (if you have one) via the scheduling portal. On the appointment form, feel free to tell us which areas you would like to focus on.

Bring a Copy of Your Draft

You’ll need it to take notes. If you have specific questions, bring those as well, but please address any substantive legal questions with your professor. WRC won’t edit your paper for you or provide a copy of our notes. Instead, we will talk about edits you can make to make your draft better. If your audience (i.e., professor) has specific expectations, please defer to them since that’s who will be grading your paper!

Let Us Know at Least 24 Hours Ahead of Time

Things come up. If you need to cancel, please log onto the scheduling portal. If you fail to show up or cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment time, you may jeopardize your ability to schedule future appointments.
