Student Health Insurance
CampusCare provides comprehensive health care benefits to eligible enrolled students and their covered dependents at the University of Illinois at Chicago. The University of Illinois requires all students to be covered by major medical health insurance and therefore provides students with CampusCare. Students may waive coverage if they can show proof of comparable coverage.
Students should have already received an email from uicportalhelp@uic.edu that includes their University Identification Number (UIN) and Token. Please use that information to set up your NetID and password. Students need a NetID to access CampusCare. If a student hasn’t received this email yet, please be patient. If you have any concerns, please contact helpdesk@jmls.edu.
Once students have their NetID, detailed information about CampusCare and the waiver process can be accessed online at https://campuscare.uic.edu/. If you have questions about CampusCare services, you can email or call CampusCare via the Contact Us link on the website homepage.
