About
Erin Knoska Crist joined the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law in 2024 as Assistant Dean of Academic Achievement, Program Assessment, and Bar Preparation, and Assistant Clinical Professor, after several years as the Director of Bar Success and Adjunct Professor at Chicago-Kent College of Law.
Dean Crist teaches courses that focus on developing the skills necessary for success in law school and on the bar exam. She is passionate about supporting students and aims to create programming that addresses various learning styles. As a first-generation law student herself, she is particularly mindful of ensuring students have the support and resources they need to succeed in law school, on the bar exam, and eventually in their careers.
Dean Crist received her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago and earned her bachelor's degree from Colorado College, where she studied political science and elementary education.
