About
Justyna has been at UIC since 2017, when she began graduate work towards a degree in Applied Linguistics/TESOL. Upon graduation, she was a Visiting Lecturer in the First-Year Writing Program for six years, teaching academic reading and writing. She is a Teaching Sustainability Initiative Fellow, as well as a member of CATE’s Inclusive Teaching Collective.
Justyna enjoys talking with writers about their ideas and goals, and helping them strengthen and develop their writing skills. With her expertise in teaching multilingual students, she is especially focused on ensuring WRC services are inviting and accessible to all students and alumni.
