IHRC Publishes People’s UPR Written Record

The International Human Rights Clinic hosted a special “Human Rights in the U.S.: How to Incorporate International Human Rights into U.S. Advocacy” event, co-sponsored by the National Lawyers Guild Chicago.

The discussion featured Professor Lauren Bartlett, Director of the Human Rights at Home Litigation Clinic at the Saint Louis University School of Law, Human Rights Program Director for the American Civil Liberties Union Jamil Dakwar, IHRC Director and Associate Professor  Sarah Dávila, and IHRC student clinicians who explored current human rights work in the United States and recent developments at the United Nations.

Speakers also shared practical tools for incorporating international human rights law into domestic advocacy and litigation.
