The Center for Intellectual Property, Information and Privacy Law at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law hosted the 69th Annual Intellectual Property, Information & Privacy Law Conference November 7, 2025 at UIC Law, and provided up to 6.25 hours of CLE credit for Illinois attorneys. In conjunction with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and Kuhnen & Wacker, the Center for Intellectual Property, Information and Privacy Law hosted the International Intellectual Property Practice Webinar, a one-day, comprehensive CLE program that brought together seasoned experts to provide instruction on the issues of contemporary significance covering patents, trademarks, design rights, and artificial intelligence. Speakers included senior representatives from WIPO.

Recognizing the Achievements of Women in Intellectual Property

World Intellectual Property Day

The UIC School of Law commemorated World Intellectual Property Day with a virtual event that recognized the achievements of women in the intellectual property law field. The distinguished panel discussed actionable steps and collaborative approaches to promote gender equity and wellness in IP, confronting and overcoming stereotypes and turning them into a super power, and much more.
