DESCRIPTION:Amount: $41,500    Deadline: June 13, 2025  Eligibility Rules:  To be eligible for the Will County Legal Opportunity Scholarship Program, candidates must meet the following rules of eligibility:     	Applicant must be Black or Latino   	Entering into first or second year of law school for Fall 2025   	Attending an American Bar Association accredited law school for Fall 2025    How The Recipient Is Selected:    A Selection Committee comprised of members of the Will County Bar Association, Black Bar Association, Latino Bar Association, Women?s Bar Association, Spesia &amp; Taylor, and members of the judiciary of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit, Will County, Illinois will review the applications and select the recipient. The Selection Committee will consider the following criteria: college GPA, community service work, personal statement, essay, character, and the desire to be a leader within the Will County Community.  Finalist selected were notified and interviewed by the Selection Committee on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. | Event post: https://law.uic.edu/events?page_id=59018
