Come hear from UIC Law alum, Benjamin (Ben) Lockyer (JD '18) as he talks about his journey to practice entertainment law and starting his own practice.
A significant part of Ben's practice involves working with musicians, rappers, streetwear fashion designers, and social media influencers. He also manage high-profile litigation, representing celebrities and taking on lawsuits against labels and fashion houses. For example, he is currently representing the plaintiffs in the DaCosta v. Yeezy litigation against Kanye West and Yeezy.
Additionally, Ben has cases against major record labels for unpaid royalties and represents the founder of the streetwear brand VLone.
