Lawyering Skills Program
UIC Law's Lawyering Skills Program is designed to immerse students in the art of legal writing and research. The program, among the leading and most-comprehensive programs in the nation, spans four semesters and is one of the most rigorous research/writing programs nationwide. The core program is staffed by tenured, tenure-track, or long-term faculty who are dedicated to helping students prepare for their future careers and achieve excellence in legal writing. Upper-level courses are taught either by full-time faculty or adjuncts who have experience in the field and who offer students the benefit of a practitioner's perspective.
