Veterans Law Appellate Advocacy Competition

The Veterans Law Appellate Advocacy Competition is held annually in Washington, D.C. and is sponsored by the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claim and the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims Bar Association.

The 2009-2010 academic year was the first year the school submitted teams to the competition. Coached by Professor Joe Butler, the team of Michael Driscoll and Jessica Thornhill, and the team of Alyson Emery and P. Christopher Williams competed admirably. The Moot Court program is working in conjunction and with the support of the Veterans Legal Support Center & Clinic.
